Join with other parents to learn how to find peace and joy in parenting through mindful practices. together we will learn mindful practices for adult to center ourselves and become more attuned with our children. we will also learn mindful practices to help out=r children with transitions, quality family time and bedtime routines. This class will include lecture, discussion and experiential learning.

Meg Durkin, MS, E-RYT, RCYT, is the founder of Mindfulness with Meg, a national Yoga 4 Classrooms® and ChildLight Yoga® trainer, and a certified health coach. Mindfulness with Meg is based in Hingham, MA and services schools and community centers with yoga and mindfulness for children ages birth to eighteen.  The company was found in 2009 and has touched over a thousand of children.  Meg also works extensively with educators, parents and children promoting stress reduction, nutrition, movement and mindfulness starting at a young age as a foundation for success at home, school and in life. In addition to being a registered adult and child yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance, Meg has studied MBSR in Mind-Body Medicine with Jon Kabat-Zinn and is also a certified health coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. In 2018, Meg led mindful movement breaks at the New Hampshire School Counselor Association Conference (NHSCA) and the Mindfulness in Society Conference.  In 2017 she was a speaker at the National Kids Yoga Conference in Washington D.C.  Meg holds a BA from Middlebury College and a Master in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. She lives in Hingham, MA with her four children.
