Mindful Yoga for Everyone

This 60 minute yoga practice combines basic hatha yoga postures and philosophy with principals and practices of mindfulness from Jon Kabot-Zin. This class will stimulate the energy systems in the body while at the same time bringing calm to the mind. All levels are welcome, with a focus on beginners and advanced beginners.
All you need is an open mind, yoga mat, towel or blanket and water. blocks and straps are provided.

Paula McCree , MS Nutrition, Registered Yoga teacher(RYT) 200,Reiki Level 1. a fitness enthusiast since college when she first discovered the benefits of regular exercise to her own health and well being and a yoga practitioner for the past 10 years, Paula brings a mindful approach to teaching yoga that begins with body awareness and respect for and acceptance of the body you have been given. Her programs offer a mix of Hatha yoga based styles and mindful meditation to facilitate the connection of the mind, body and spirit. By keeping it simple, honest and relatable to every day experience, her gentle approach makes the practice assessable and provided a welcome oasis for students of all types to find their own personal way to take better care of themselves and be their truest and best self.
