Adult Pickleball W/Phil Hayman

Description: The racquet sports that is growing rapidly in popularity all over the United States. Pickleball combines the rules and fundamentals of ping pong, tennis, and badminton. It is played with a plastic or wooden paddle and hard plastic ball with a tennis-type net on a badminton-sized court. Classes will include 30 minutes of instruction and 60 minutes of game play. Once participants are comfortable with the rules and fundamentals of the game, the full 75 class time will adjust to game play. This is a fun and great workout for all ages and abilities. Come join the Pickleball movement and get a great workout in each week.
Adult Novice Pickleball
Individuals that are new to the sport. Have not been introduced to the rules, scoring and have not hit the ball (or may have a few times) should enroll for this class.
These individuals have a basic understanding of the game. They know the rules and how to score. They may get confused a few times a game but have a basic knowledge and understanding to correct themselves regarding where to line up on the court. They can play and get balls back over with some consistency.
Intermediate Strategy and Play Clinic
Participants will have been playing at least 2-3 years and are seeking more advanced competitive play strategies. They have full knowledge of how to play and the rules. They make most of their shots mainly missing only when forced. Still need work on consistency and keeping the ball low but can play rallies out and have a basic understanding of strategy.
