Program Description-  Discover the exhilarating world of Track & Field through Hingham Recreation's dynamic program powered by Ije Company! Young athletes with a passion for movement will gain invaluable skills in sprinting, jumping, and throwing in an array of events, exercises, and competitions. Former NCAA Track & Field athletes and coaches comprise our expert coaching staff, providing top-tier instruction to athletes of all ages. Trainer Coach: Ricky Igbani

Ricky Igbani was born in Nigeria, Africa. He grew up in Randolph, MA. He grew up playing sports and went on to Lasell College earning a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Coaching where he also played on the baseball team and ran track and field. He created Ije in 2020. The word "Ije" derives from his Nigerian heritage where its literal meaning is "movement". 

Ije strives to help others adopt this lifestyle no matter what distractions, barriers or challenges arise. 

Ricky embodies the philosophy: You must "Keep Moving" toward your goals in life.
