Competing in many tournaments both nationally and internationally, he competed winning gold and silver medals at various state championships and tournaments around the country including the U.S. cup.He began his search for a Tai Chi Chuan (Taiji Quan) teacher in 1991, after retiring from competitions. He was forbidden to heal for 7 years until he had achieved a level of cultivation that was satisfactory to his Guru. In 2004 he finally found the teacher his heart had been yearning for in the art of Tai Chi Chuan. Having learned the Yang style of Tai Chi Chuan during travel in China, he began his study of Tai Chi and Chi Kung with Sifu Ken Dong. Competing in many tournaments both nationally and internationally, he competed winning gold and silver medals at various state championships and tournaments around the country including the U.S. cup.He began his search for a Tai Chi Chuan (Taiji Quan) teacher in 1991, after retiring from competitions. Ed studied Chi Kung (Qi Gong) with various teachers and learned different healing modalities. He studied Kundalini Maha Yoga with Sri Anandi Ma learning the science of pranayama, mudra, tratak and mantra as well as meditation and her lineage’s healing practices. It was apparent to Ed that Sifu Dong’s Tai Chi had reached a spiritual level. Dong Sifu guided Ed into the higher levels of Tai Chi and Chi Kung.
