Your child’s participation in a given course is confirmed through an email receipt confirming payment
If your child has an allergy, please note that when registering in the medical alert note section
DISCIPLINEStudents are to meet the same expectations for behavior as for the regular school day. Students should show care and respect to the instructor and their peers. If a child’s behavior becomes a disruption, parents will be notified and the appropriate course of action will be followed, which can include dismissal from the program with no refund. By registering your child, you agree to the terms of the programs. DISMISSAL & SAFETY PROCEDURESFoster PLUS children are dismissed first at the end of the day. They should listen to the announcement which says “Foster PLUS Students report to the room 119.” They should bring their coat and backpack as if they are leaving for the day. All children will be picked up in room 119 by parent or guardian at 3:35pm (unless otherwise stated in program description). Please park and enter the side door by gym to pick up your child. To ensure the safety of the children, please have your ID ready. If your child will be walking home or picked up by someone other than the parent, please call the Hingham Rec office. OFF-SITE & PERFORMANCE CLASSESPlease note the course descriptions to see if your child’s course has a last class share, performance, or off-site workshop. We encourage parent or guardian attendance. ABSENTEE POLICYPlease notify the Hingham Rec at 781-741-1464 before 2pm if your child is unable to attend class that day. There are no make-up classes or refunds for student absences. In the event an instructor is absent, parents will be notified as soon as possible and students will be sent home at their normal dismissal time. K-2 (Thursdays 1/15-2/12) Gr. 3-5 (Mondays 1/12– 2/9) No Class 1/19Create works of art using many types of materials including cardboard, tinfoil, canvas, painted paper to name a few. Experiment with multiple mediums such as chalk pastels, oil pastels, metallic markers, paint, glitter and more. Explore these art techniques to create your own style of artwork. Instructor: Ms. Russo Brazilian Jiu-JitsuGr. K-5 (Mondays 1/12-2/9) No Class 1/19Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teaches discipline, patience, respect, sportsmanship, and self-control. Martial Arts emphasizes a combination of mind and body awareness that brings every practitioner closer to their goals. Instructor: Hingham Rec Staff Rising Stars, Intro to Music and TheaterGr. 3-5 (Thursdays 1/15-2/12)Join our Musical Theater Class and step into the spotlight! Whether you’re new to the stage or already an aspiring performer, this class offers an exciting look into the world of music and theater. Students will have the opportunity to explore singing, dancing, and acting in a supportive, low-pressure environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and teamwork. DISCIPLINEStudents are to meet the same expectations for behavior as for the regular school day. Students should show care and respect to the instructor and their peers. If a child’s behavior becomes a disruption, parents will be notified and the appropriate course of action will be followed, which can include dismissal from the program with no refund. By registering your child, you agree to the terms of the programs. DISMISSAL & SAFETY PROCEDURESFoster PLUS children are dismissed first at the end of the day. They should listen to the announcement which says “Foster PLUS Students report to the room 119.” They should bring their coat and backpack as if they are leaving for the day. All children will be picked up in room 119 by parent or guardian at 3:35pm (unless otherwise stated in program description). Please park and enter the side door by gym to pick up your child. To ensure the safety of the children, please have your ID ready. If your child will be walking home or picked up by someone other than the parent, please call the Hingham Rec office. OFF-SITE & PERFORMANCE CLASSESPlease note the course descriptions to see if your child’s course has a last class share, performance, or off-site workshop. We encourage parent or guardian attendance. ABSENTEE POLICYPlease notify the Hingham Rec at 781-741-1464 before 2pm if your child is unable to attend class that day. There are no make-up classes or refunds for student absences.
